Story:
Town
& Country Inc., Realtors opened its' doors in May, 1968 in
a one room office building in what is now Jackson, Tennessee's
mid-town. Along with two sales associates and a secretary,
Reggie Smith and George Dorris, began building one of the most
successful real estate firms in the Jackson area. In the
ensuing years many new facets have been added to the business
including property management and opening the 52nd
Family Relocation Center in the nation, offering a wide
variety of relocation services.
In 1979,
invited Town & Country Inc.,
Realtors to join what was soon to become America's premier
real estate franchise as a charter member. As the company
grew, so did Mr. Smith's commitment to his sales executives. A
training director was hired. That training is still in place,
ensuring that each sales executive has the information and the
tools he or she needs in helping people buy or market their
home. Due to Mr. Smith's vision and company growth, he was
inducted into Broker Hall of Fame
1993. In 1987, Town & Country Inc., Realtors received the
Outstanding Small Business of the Year Award. In 1987 they
moved to their current location on Hwy 45 Bypass in Jackson.

has been recognized as National
Champs in 1989, 1992, and 1993.
For the
past thirty years, Town & Country Inc., Realtors has been
